“Fake it until you make it”

Look up from reading for a second, look around the space you’re in. Pretty much everything you are looking at, came from someone’s imagination. Pretty cool eh? If we all have this incredible tool, why not use it to create the world you want to live in.
Thoughts seem to come in a constant stream, where from? Who knows? Sometimes the thoughts can be quite damaging and unhelpful. What if we used the simple trick of noticing whenever a negative thought comes in, recognise it as not serving you and just look for another one? Give the negative one back to the constant line of thoughts and just pick another one- one that does serve you. One that makes you feel happy or confident. How about replacing it with “I am love” “I am strong” or “I am peace”. “I am abundant” is a good one as is “I am healthy” “I am amazing”. There are millions of them, just use your imagination. (See what I did there)
If we accept that we can create our own world, then we must have the ability to decide what choices to make. Why not change it up, replace the negative stuff with thoughts that build you up rather than make you feel bad. I’m not saying it’s easy to do this all the time, training your mind takes time and practise but in the end, isn’t everything just practise, figuring out how it all works best for you?
